How to Get to Missions Fest 2010

From Vancouver International Airport – taxis, buses and the new Canada Line skytrain system will all be available. The Canada Line Skytrain will connect the Vancouver International Airport with downtown Vancouver, the city of Richmond and points in between when it launches in the fall of 2009. By Public Transportation to Missions Fest 2010
Departing From: Vancouver International Airport
Board the Canada Line skytrain at Airport Station and ride it north into Vancouver. Get off the train at the Broadway-City Hall stop, and exit the station. Turn right on West Broadway and board the #9 Boundary just before Yukon St (one block east).
Departing From: North Vancouver
Take the SeaBus from Lonsdale Quay to Waterfront Station.
For the fastest route proceed by Skytrain: Board the Millennium Line or Expo Line trains eastbound to King George or VCC and transfer at Broadway Station. Go downstairs to the lower level Millennium Line Commercial Station. Board the eastbound train (Waterfront via Columbia) to the next station Renfrew. Get off at Renfrew Station. Exit via the stairs down to street level. Turn to the left/west on East 12th Ave to find the Missions Fest shuttle buses ready to take you up Slocan Street to Broadway Church. You may also walk the two blocks up the hill to the church which is visible from Renfrew Station as you look north/west.
Departing From: Downtown Vancouver
Go to East or West Broadway via Burrard, Cambie or Main Streets buses. Catch the #9 Boundary eastbound to Slocan Street. Broadway Church is on the southeast corner of East Broadway and Slocan Streets.
Departing From: Richmond
Board the Canada Line train at any of the 3 stations in Richmond along No 3 Road, or at Bridgeport Station. Ride it north into Vancouver and get off at the Broadway-City Hall stop. Exit the station, turn right on West Broadway, and board the #9 Boundary just before Yukon St (one block east).
By Car to Missions Fest 2010
If driving directly to Broadway Church:
1. Via Highway #99 from the South. After traveling north through Richmond, cross the Oak Street Bridge, continue travelling north to West Broadway and turn right. Continue approximately 6 kilometres east to Slocan Street. Turn right. Broadway Church is on the southeast corner of the intersection of East Broadway and Slocan Streets.
2. Via Highway #1 from the East. After traveling through Burnaby, From Trans Canada Highway 1, take the Grandview Highway exit and follow Grandview Highway west, turning right on Slocan Street. Proceed up the hill to East Broadway. Broadway Church is on your right part way up the hill. Turn right into the parking lot or proceed to the main entrance for passenger drop-off at the corner of E Broadway and Slocan.
3. From Downtown Vancouver: Access East or West Broadway via Burrard, Cambie or Main Streets. Follow East Broadway east past Nanaimo Street, turning right onto Slocan Street. Broadway Church is on the southeast corner of East Broadway and Slocan Streets.
By SkyTrain to Missions Fest 2010
SkyTrain is the longest automated light rapid transit system in the world. The Expo and Millennium SkyTrain lines connect downtown Vancouver with the cities of Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. The Canada Line connects downtown Vancouver to the Vancouver International Airport and the city of Richmond.
Broadway Church, the Warehouse and the Italian Cultural Centre are all within two blocks of the Renfrew Skytrain station. Missions Fest will be providing shuttle bus service from the Renfrew Skytrain station to Broadway church every 15 minutes during the festival.

Alternate Route Using both Skytrain and Bus: NO WALKING. The bus stops in front of the church at 2700 E Broadway. Broadway Church is on the southeast corner of East Broadway and Slocan Streets. Use the Skytrain to get to Broadway Station and then proceed by bus to Broadway Church. Change from the Skytrain at Broadway Station exiting downstairs to the south side of East Broadway. Board the #9 Boundary bus eastbound to Slocan Street.
