Hydrogen Technology Vehicles at Missions Fest 2010!
 As part of our commitment to care for creation, Missions Fest welcomes the participation of both the National Research Council Canada - Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation (NRC-IFCI) and Sacre-Davey Innovations
NRC-IFCI and Sacre-Davey Innovations will provide some zero emission vehicles: two Ford Focus fuel cell vehicles, one to three GMC H2 V8 1500 pickup trucks, and possibly one Ford H2 V10 E450 bus as shuttle vehicles between Renfrew SkyTrain station and the Broadway Church.
Missions Fest volunteers will be driving these vehicles! These cars will be running as shuttle vehicles between Renfrew skytrain station and Broadway Church. The IFCI is offering training for volunteers who have a valid class 5 licence and are willing to offer 6 hours of driving during the conference weekend(Jan 8th-10th 2010).

Training will take place in North Vancouver:
Thursday December 10th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
at the Sacre-Davey headquardters (315 Mountain Hwy, North Vancouver, BC). get directions
If you are interested in participating in the Ford vehicle training you need to:
1. Fill out a Missions Fest volunteer application. Apply now . If applying on line for Division select "Facilities and Parking" and next: "Shuttle Drivers". At the end of your application make sure to write/type down a note regarding the H2 vehicles.
2. Download the training files to your computer. Download now: Zip file. Don't 'open' the file, but 'save' it in your computer. It takes a few minutes.To extract the content of the file you need to have Winzip installed in your computer. To download a free version of Winzip click here.
3. Review the PowerPoint slides and videos.
4. Print and complete the quiz, being sure to sign and date it.
5. Print and complete the Driver Training Approval Template (put Missions Fest as the Organization/Company).
6. Bring the completed quiz and approval form to the training session.
