Claiborne

Shane Claiborne describes himself as a “recovering sinner” who unveils the tragic messes we’ve made of our world and the tangible hope that another world is possible. His ministry experience is varied, from 10-weeks spent alongside Mother Teresa in Calcutta, to a year serving a wealthy mega-congregation at Willow Creek Community Church outside Chicago. Shane is the founding partner of The Simple Way, a faith community in inner city of Philadelphia. Shane is the author of several books and travels extensively speaking about peacemaking, social justice, and Jesus.

Lorna Dueck uses media to explore how Christian faith is engaged in Canada.  Context, with Lorna Dueck; Life beyond the headlines is the weekly TV talk show she hosts Sunday mornings on Global TV.   Lorna is also a regular commentary writer on faith and public life in Canada’s leading national newspaper, The Globe and Mail and at CBC.ca  She has traveled and reported on many Canadians making a difference in the world. Lorna is a wife and mother to two adult children. She and her husband live in the Toronto area.

Thomas

 

Originally from Malaysia, T.V. Thomas studied in India, Canada and the United States. He is Founder and Director of the Centre for Evangelism & World Mission in Regina, SK. He has enjoyed years of inter-denominational and international ministry as a speaker and teacher. T.V. currently serves on the boards of IVCF-Canada and the International Network of South Asian Diaspora Leaders (INSADL). Thomas is a member of Equipping Evangelists (E2) of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, the Perspectives-Canada National Team, and a Multicultural Ministries Consultant for the C&MA in Canada.

David Wang serves as the President Emeritus of Asian Outreach. He is a leading expert on China and a sought-after speaker at international mission congresses. His leadership, writings, ministry and messages have touched countless lives. David has translated and authored more than 20 books, including several best-sellers in the Chinese world. He is the Founder/Chairman of ActionLove, a social development arm of Asian Outreach. David’s personal focus is on the Chinese world. He and his wife live in Hong Kong.

   

Woolley

Dan Woolley is the author of Unshaken: Rising from the Ruins of Haiti’s Hotel Montana. Dan was on a filming assignment with Compassion International on January 12, 2010 when a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Port-au-Prince. Buried for 65 hours under the rubble of the hotel, he faced the darkness with songs of praise and treated injuries by using an app on his iPhone. Dan works to release children from poverty, and tells the story of God’s miraculous rescue. Dan lives in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife and two sons.
