Meet the Director of Missions Fest Vancouver |
 |
Dwayne Buhler became the Executive Director of Missions Fest Vancouver in July 2007. He attended the first Missions Fest conference in 1984, where he was challenged by the message of Don Richardson, and signed up for a short-term mission trip, showing the JESUS Film up and down the Amazon River. He and his wife Rhonda worked as youth pastors in Fort St. John, BC and Swift Current, SK, before serving for 15 years as missionaries in Porto Alegre, Brazil and Mexico City. They live in the Cloverdale area, and are the parents of two young adult children. Dwayne is a teacher, writer, and is committed to seeing young leaders be equipped and released for ministry.
